Fox News' faux documentary sets new low -- Sean Hannity uses Words of Imbalanced and Mentally Unstable in Outrageous Collection of Slander Los Angeles Times

advertisement

Fox News host Sena Hannity, one of journalism's slimiest peddlers of offensive, misleading, or outright false reporting, squeezed out a rancid collection of warmed-over lies coming from a collection of bottom-of-the-barrel partisan hacks, a disgraced would-be attorney who was not admitted to the bar due to his insanity and paranoid delusions about, you guessed it, conspiracies of the government and the jews who are out to sabotage this unknown loser. (Don't flatter yourself) This principal "witness" against Obama was introduced as an "author and journalist" but in truth he is a pathetic mentally ill man who launches frivolous lawsuits based on his delusions. It is unclear whether Hannity and his staff were just too stupid to realize that he was reporting the delusions of an ill person as fact, Or if they were well aware of the lies that they were packaging. The show had a viewership of 2 million.

What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

These crooks and the mentally imbalanced people who are supplying their "facts" are behind every major BS misinformation campaign going on... They also gave rise to a sea of copy-cat smears by people too dumb to have their own delusions, so they just go off the deep-end when they read the delusional ramblings of sad, angry, and unwell people. (brother can you spare an hallucination?)

Isn't there some standard in journalism that one should have to meet?  A laugh test or something so that the Sean Hannitys of the world don't expose their networks and shareholders to serious liability issues?

Just asking.  Well written Spag and awesome seed.

Sean Hannity is not a journalist.  He's a shock jock like Howard Stern, only instead of sex Hannity peddles necon politics.

What are the demographics on people who keep watching this guy? What does it say about how deeply disturbed our nation has become? What's the attraction of hate journalism?

Good question about the demographics of Hannity viewers (DEMON-graphics maybe?) I dunno....here is an excerpt from Faux-News, the Fox subsidiary in the underworld:

9 out of 10 demons of hell agree that Sean Hannity is the new Rush Limbaugh, Satanic consultant Joseph "Joe the Nazi" Goebbels added that: "in today's 24/hour news and hate-cycle, the flashy, fast-paced style of Hannity burns the hate into viewers' minds like a burning cross on the lawn of someone who tries to vote, but does so in a slickly-produced fashion that leaves the viewer unaware they have been propagandized. I really admire the guy, and things in the war might have gone better with a player like that on the team."

its funny how fox news is always finger pointing at the other networks and talking about everly little imperfection they have - but they put out completely bias material on their shows and "specials". I dont think any one think their "fair and balanced", not even their viewers because if they were they would not watch the network.

I think you are mostly right about people's awareness of Fox's bias...with one exception.  I agree with you that you have us normal people who hate Fox, and know it is biased and don't watch for that reason.  Then you have the people who love Fox, know it is biased and watch because of it--scary people.  But there is a third group who watch it and are unaware they are biased themselves... they are scary, but in a different way than the ones who know it is biased and like it.  (zombies as opposed to Freddie Krueger).

the monster comparisons were inspired by the level of exaggeration of the McCain/Palin camp..."red meat" they call it

I think the ones who watch and believe are the truly "low information voters". I had an acquaintance trying to convince me that ALL the new is "radically biased" except for Fox. I asked her if it was possible that maybe Fox was biased and everybody else was up the middle. She proceeded to inform me that I've been brainwashed by the "liberal media". I kept myself from laughing by feeling really sorry for this poor stupid woman.

F-3

I watch Fox news to see the opposite view but during this campaign it has become ridiculously obsurd.

I do not think they are even worth the risk of me boosting their ratings any more.

this is how I see it....

CNN = 50/50

MSNBC = center left

Fox = almost right-wing talk radio

Other than an actual democrat congress person, or strategist there is not left view on that network by ANY of their news casters or host. The always complain about MSNBC but they have Joe Scarborough who is a republican and has his own show on the network and Pat Buchanan gives his input on all the news shows on MSNBC.

This is just one of many reasons why I have deleted FOX news from my Satellite and Cable line up.

I don't think the people who pushed for the 'V' chip had in mind that people would use the option to delete channels and shows for a fake news channel, the 700 club and the shopping networks.

Mark my words: That awful Orlando ABC anchor who asked those absurdly stupid questions will be a Fox News contributor now...maybe full-time or maybe just a regular guest slot on their shows...ughThat is now all you need to do to get famous in the GOP... I wish I was a Repub for that reason alone, all I would have to do is act like an ass and I could be the new spokesman for the GOP... it's getting like the decay of civilization out there, eh?

DafanZ: yup, he is a long-time GOP backer and as you say he is a McCainiac.  He has actually worked for a number of campaigns over the years.  He has a record of financial backing, volunteer involvment, and actual employmnt by the GOP/McCain camp.  No conincidence...
