The policies of the Bush administration, and those supported by John McCain, are threatening to bring about a proliferation of unwanted pregnancies, tens of thousands of abortions around the third world, and exacerbate the hunger and poverty that the effected populations will endure. In the guise of being "pro-life" Bush and McCain are actually directly responsible for policy that will produce major increases in abortion worldwide on an ongoing basis, and that has already undermined the work to moderate China's abortion policies. McCain has shown that he would rather save a single vote for himself, than prevent tens of thousands of abortions through what had been a great family planning effort until the Bush/McCain axis killed it.
